Community Guidelines

Welcome to PlanetSmith Wiki. To keep this a useful and welcoming resource for all players, we ask that all contributors follow these guidelines. By editing or participating, you agree to abide by them.

1. Be respectful

Treat other contributors with courtesy. Disagreements about content are normal. Handle them calmly and constructively on talk pages. Personal attacks, harassment, and insults are not tolerated.

2. Keep content accurate

Only add information that is verifiable and relevant to the game. Avoid speculation, rumor, or unconfirmed content unless clearly labeled as such. If you're unsure, discuss it on the talk page first.

3. No vandalism

Deliberately adding false information, blanking pages, or otherwise damaging the wiki will result in an immediate block. Good-faith mistakes are fine but intentional damage is not.

4. No spam or self-promotion

Do not add links, advertisements, or promotions unrelated to the game. This includes referral links, personal channels, or third-party services unless they are genuinely useful to readers.

Do not copy text or images from other sources without permission. Original screenshots and writing are welcome. If you use external sources, cite them.

6. Use talk pages for disputes

If you disagree with an edit, do not get into an edit war. Use the article's talk page to discuss it. Persistent edit warring may result in the page being protected and the users involved being blocked.

7. Follow staff decisions

Administrators have the final say on content disputes and guideline enforcement. If you believe a decision was wrong, raise it on the admin's talk page calmly and in good faith.

Enforcement

Violations may result in a warning, temporary block, or permanent block depending on severity and history. Repeat offenders will be blocked without further warning.
